Each week, children will experience: 1. Story/Book Reading: Fun, age-appropriate picture books. 2. Calendar/Circle Time: Songs, days of the week, months, weather discussion, and “What’s New Today?” 3. Game/Activity: Hands-on games to reinforce concepts from the story and calendar time. As far as my teaching style goes I am patient, nurturing and caring. I take time to learn and help my students to discover their giftedness, talents and abilities. My inspiration and philosophy comes from my late father’s statement: “A mark of a good teacher is for every student to understand.” I believe every child and youth are uniquely amazing, and gifted! It's a true gift to see all children engaged, learning and having fun!

I am matriculating in a Doctor of Ministry degree. And, I completed a certification for students learning English as a second language (TESOL).

Darlene has completed the following International Coaching Federation (ICF) accredited certifications: Certified Holistic Coaching, Certified Master Youth/Parent/Family Coaching, Certified Master Coach, Certified Wellness Coach, Certified Addiction Recovery Coach, and the Certified Master Relationship Coach.
I have taught my adult sons, children and youth in my community and online for over 40 combined years. As far as my teaching style goes I am patient, nurturing and caring.
