Each week we will learn everything you ever wanted to know about a different farm animal, including what the animal is used for, where they live, what they eat, what they are called, how to care for them, interesting facts about them, and more! I grew up on a large livestock farm, and was actively involved in caring for sheep, cattle, goats, horses, chickens, dogs, cats, and even ostriches! For 10 years, I was active in 4-H, raising and showing sheep, cattle, and goats at the county, district, and state levels. As an active 4-Her, I also participated in Livestock Judging, Stockman’s Contests, and Cattle Working Competitions. I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Animal and Poultry Sciences, and my Master’s Degree in Elementary Education. My passions are teaching children and sharing my love and expertise of animals with everyone! I am a certified teacher with over 5 years of experience teaching 1st, 3rd, and 5th grade in public schools. I also have a year of experience teaching Kindergarten Readiness to preschool students.
