Ms. Jill is currently on maternity leave! // CLASSES RESUME IN JUNE! // In this ongoing class, learners will meet once a week to create a teacher-directed seasonal craft. Materials will typically be items you already have in your home, but the supply list will always be listed a few weeks in advance. Learners will be shown step by step how to complete each craft. Students will have opportunities to practice cutting skills, pre-writing skills (tracing / coloring), and following directions. If time allows, the class will include an book related to our craft. Parents will need to supervise classes that use scissors. If a craft includes painting, it is possible we won't be able to finish it during class. Parents are encouraged to help their child finish the final steps of the project together. **Please see the SUPPLY LIST section below for a list of specific materials needed** Ms. Jill is currently on maternity leave! // CLASSES RESUME IN JUNE! // Week of June 8: Kite Week of June 15: Rocket to the Moon Week of June 22: Garden Week of June 29: Fireworks (4th of July Craft) Week of July 7: Handprint Flower Pot Week of July 14: No class Future week's crafts are to be determined.

Week of June 8: Kite • White paper (cardstock or art paper would be best) • 1 colored piece of paper (pick any color) • Ribbon or yarn • Tape • Washable paint (variety of colors) • Newspaper or something to protect your table from paint • Scissors • Pencil • Ruler (or something with a straight edge – like a book) Week of June 15: Rocket to the Moon • Paper plate • Grey paint or black and white paint • Tin foil (aluminum foil) • Paper in a variety of colors • Pencil • Scissors • Glue Week of June 22: Garden • 2 paper plates • Blue paint or blue maker • Brown paint or brown marker • Orange paper • Green paper • Stapler • Glue • Pencil • Scissors Week of June 29: Fireworks (4th of July Craft) • Paint (Variety of Colors) • Black paper • White paper • Scissors • Pencil • Glue • Cotton swabs (Qtips) Week of July 7: Handprint Flower Pot • Washable paint in a variety of colors (need green and 2-3 other colors) (we will be using our hand/ fingers to paint so it is important that it is washable) • Paintbrush • Paper plate (or something to put your paint on) • A wet paper towel or washcloth to wipe their hands on • Brown paper • White paper • Glue • Scissors Future week's crafts are to be determined.

About Me: I have been working with kids for over 10 years now! I graduated from college with a bachelor's degree in elementary education and K-12 special education. I have taught special education in school for 3 years and now have been teaching online for 5 years. I take great joy in helping students become responsible and independent!
