Join our LGBTQ+ Music Club for Teens, where we celebrate queer artists and explore the vibrant world of LGBTQ+ music! In this ongoing club, we’ll dive into the work of influential queer musicians, discussing their impact on the music industry and society. Each week, learners will have the opportunity to choose the artists we focus on, ensuring that the content is dynamic and tailored to the group’s interests. Hello everyone! My name is Brandon (he/him) and I am a performer, voice teacher, and interdisciplinary educator with over 6 years of experience teaching voice to learners of all ages! I graduated from Indiana University with a Master's in Post-Secondary Instruction and a Bachelor of Arts in Vocal Performance. I am a former middle school choir and theatre teacher and I also taught elementary music.
I teach all levels of singing and music, from beginning students to those who have been taking lessons for years! In addition to teaching singing, I also teach music history, musical theatre, and introductory French. As an interdisciplinary educator, I come with a wide array of subject knowledge to provide a well-rounded approach to learning.
My private lessons will be tailored to each student's needs. It is important that my students know that I am inclusive and supportive of all backgrounds and I pride myself and creating a teaching environment where students feel empowered and supported.
