レベル 6 オランダ語 | Nederlands 🇳🇱 ダイアログの使用! -- 10 週間コース

-- This is the Semester Course Format which meets for 10 weeks, 1 day per week -- 

++ Please note: this is a continuation of my "Intro to Dutch" Levels 1, 2, 3 and 4 classes (40 lessons in total). 
Students who have completed all 40 lessons are welcome to sign up for level 5 ++

Just like in the previous levels, we will be using dialogues and breakout rooms (if there are more than 3 students enrolled)* 

*The use of breakout rooms is to practice the dialogues. This is only a small (but very important) part of the class time (around 10 - 15 min.). This way everyone will get to practice at the same time. The students will get the dialogue ahead of time as well as a recording (one in Dutch and one in Flemish Dutch) so they can prepare for it on their own. During class I will make time to go over any new words both the pronunciation and the meaning. I will be able to pop into every breakout room to check on the students. 

In Level 5 we will be perfecting the use of the present perfect as well as other grammatical constructions (reflexive verbs, review of the present tense, word order, adjectives for materials, imperative, etc.) 

New this level: reading comprehension exercises! 

Lesson 1: A messy room -- present tense review
Lesson 2: Baking cookies -- imperatives 
Lesson 3: Ordering ice cream -- modal verbs
Lesson 4: My house III (reading comprehension) -- position verbs
Lesson 5: A birthday gift -- opposites 
Lesson 6: Hurry up (you'll be late for school)! -- reflexive verbs
Lesson 7:  Eating healthily 
Lesson 8: A visit to the aquarium -- conjunctions 
Lesson 9: Taking pictures -- different types of paintings / pictures
Lesson 10: Kahoot-quiz

A Google Slide presentation will be used during this class.
The students are asked to verbally participate in order for the teacher to give feedback and corrections. 
Class sizes are kept small in order to ensure that every student is able to participate.   
Just like in Levels 1 through 4, students will get extra material to work on at home.
