This class will focus on the 7 P’s of public speaking: pace, posture, pronunciation, power, pause, punch, and passion. Learners will develop speaking, listening, logical thinking and reasoning skills. In this weekly class, learners will engage in discussions on a wide range of topics and master public speaking skills. Class structure will be as follows: A warm up activity. Discussion topics. Planning and pre-writing. A quick write of speeches Presentations Week 1 Topic: How sports teach kids important life skills Week 2. Topic: The role of laughter in promoting well being Week 3 Topic: The influence of role models in our lives Week 3. Topic: The role of pets in our lives
