In this one time class, we will explore the world of animals and a few insects with spooky names. We will discuss the name of each animal or insect, where it lives, and it's size. I will be showing the learners real pictures of these animals (bats, insects, squids, a snake , tarantula, and crabs) during class. The children will have many opportunities to discuss their experiences and opinions about these animals with spooky Halloween names and insects. Please be sure to bring paper and drawing materials to class. During the class we will also be having fun drawing our own spooky animals. The children will be asked to share their drawings with the other learners, if they would like. It is ok if they do not wish share their drawing. I can't wait to meet you all in class!

I have created curriculum for 3-6 year old's, tutored, been a nanny, an assistant director, assistant teacher for early learners in the school district, and taught English (ESL) online. I have a BA in Early Childhood Education and a BA in Psychology. I love to find creative ways for children to learn and have fun! I believe children learn best through a variety of means including: repetition, writing, movement, creativity, socialization, fun, and a positive attitude. If I do not know the answer to a child's question, I will research it and let them know. Knowledge is a powerful tool that can create a spark for future learning and life adventures.
