In this one time class, students will practice and review subtraction with borrowing.  The class will cover numbers up to the hundreds place.  The class will begin with the students watching the teacher work problem examples showing step by step how to work the problems.  The students will then work problems with the teacher and then problems on their own.  Students will also briefly review vocabulary associated with subtraction.  Students should be able to subtract without borrowing before this class.  Some possible example problems could be 64-38 or 602-174.  Come practice subtraction with borrowing with us!

Hello everyone!  Welcome to Outschool!  
My name is Ms. Julie and I'm excited to meet you!  I teach Reading, Math, Writing, ESL (English As a Second Language), and other subjects too.  I've been an educator and teaching for over 20 years in both brick-and-mortar and online.  When I'm not teaching, I can often be found tutoring online or in person.  My experience includes working with preschool to high school students with a lot of my experience with elementary and middle school age groups.  I have an elementary education K-6 grade license as well as a math 5-8 license and a K-12 ESL (English As a Second Language) License.  I have taught ESL (English as a Second Language) for many years also.  My masters in reading has been a great resource as well.
Every student can learn and I believe we all learn in different ways.  I love to have fun while learning!  When I'm not teaching, I enjoy spending time outside with my furry friend or time with family and friends.
