Students will improve their social skills by talking about their experiences in Stardew Valley. Students may also increase their knowledge of responsibility, relationships, and making difficult decisions as part of the game. We will discuss these aspects too! 

I have been successfully teaching classes on Outschool for over a year now, I am a high school teacher, and a videogame fanatic. I have been playing games my whole life and talking about them with other people! More importantly, I pride our classes and clubs on their inclusivity and ability to have meaningful discussions and make students feel safe, seen, and cared for.

The learner will need to have the game, Stardew Valley on either PC or Nintendo Switch.
The learner will need to have purchased the game and be able to log in to play the game through Steam or Nintendo. To play with OTHERS on Nintendo Switch the learner will need to have a monthly subscription to Nintendo Online - this is not required to play the game or participate in the class.
