I have been speaking Greek all my life. I was born in Canada but my parents and extended family are all born in Greece. Greek was my first language growing up and I went to Greek schools in Canada to continue learning Greek (Kindergarten to High School). I also lived in Greece each year for 4 months at a time (May to September) and really lived the culture and developed further language skills there. I continue to speak Greek daily with my friends and family. Currently, I continue to practice the language in my own independent studies.
