Learners will be introduced to some basic French vocabulary which will allow them to have a taste of the French language. Each lesson will begin with: Greetings and introductions in French Introduction to new vocabulary A game or song featuring the new vocabulary Wrap up, review and au revoir! (goodbye) Weekly Schedule: Week of Jan 10: Greetings Week of Jan 17: Conversaion Week of Jan 24: Numbers Week of Jan 31: Colors Our Nearpod presentation will be shared after every class with built-in recordings and practice opportunities.

Hello! My name is Samantha and I'm a teacher from Montreal, Quebec. I have been teaching online for over three years and have taught over 4000 classes! I specialize in language learning (English Second Language, French) as well as science and math.
I graduated with my Bachelor's in Education, with distinction, from the University of New Brunswick. I have a Graduate Certificate in Teaching English Second Language from McGill University and a Master of Education in Educational Psychology from McGill University.
I believe that learning should be student-centered, flexible, and fun. Students should be encouraged to explore and research and take control of their education. Learning, even when online, should be engaging, interactive, and hands-on.
I can usually be found making a mess in the kitchen, doing yoga, or reading a good book. I love meeting my friends to play board games and competing in trivia tournaments.
