英語を学ぼう: 初心者向け ESL/ELL フレックスクラス - ユニット 1: 紹介

****This is a 4 week FLEX class.  There are NO LIVE LESSONS.  Learners work at their own pace.  There will be one pre-recorded lesson each week.  Worksheets and additional resources are included****

Does your learner want to learn English?  This is the perfect class for beginner English Language Learners .  In this beginner ESL class your learner will practice English vocabulary, sentence frames, and phonics skills.  

Unit 1 covers introductions and letters A-L.  Each week your learner will be provided a pre-recorded lesson that covers that week's learning objectives.  Additional resources are also included to enrich their learning experience.  

Structure of the FLEX Class:
- On Sunday night (by 8pm Eastern Time) each week a pre-recorded lesson video will be uploaded into the classroom that will go over that weeks objectives, along with additional enrichment resources.  Each video will include songs to sing, vocabulary, sentence frames, and phonics skills.  
-Learners will be encouraged to complete enrichment exercises and answer classroom questions each week.
-Fun activities and crafts will also be included.

Weekly Interaction Opportunities:
-Mondays (post will be up by 8pm Eastern)-  Learners will be asked to do a scavenger hunt to find an item in their house that fits the phonics lesson for that week.  (ex.  Letter A- find an item that starts with the Aa sound)
-Wednesdays (post will be up by 8pm Eastern):  Learners will be asked to draw a picture of one of the vocabulary words or write the sentence frame for the week and upload it into the classroom.
-Fridays (post will be up by 8pm Eastern):  Learners will be asked to upload a video of themselves (with or without camera) practicing the vocabulary and sentence frames for the week.  This also can be sent through Outschool messages for more privacy.  Learners will be provided with feedback by teacher.
