バレエを学ぼう: レベル 1 - 2

Students follow along with this ballet class, practicing exercises that improve ballet technique and expand artistic expression. Students will dance all together for most of the class but will practice dancing one by one at certain times. Students will learn steps and exercises from the Grades 1 and 2 syllabi from the Royal Academy of Dance, the largest ballet teaching organization in the world. Students will work on improving strength, coordination, musicality and creativity, while building a solid foundation in ballet technique.

This class is intended for dancers who are 7 – 10 years old and usually have 1 – 3 years of recent ballet experience. If your dancer has little or no ballet experience, please contact Mrs. Watters about class placement before registration. If your dancer is on the higher end of the age range (9 or 10 years old) this would be suitable if they are newer to ballet (1-2 years approximately).
