分数について学ぼう！

Students will work with the teacher through a power point to show an understanding of fractions. Students will be able to write on the screen to illustrate fractions, simplify fractions, and create equivalent fractions. The teacher and students will work together drawing on the power point and showing where we see fractions in real life, what fractions are, and how we can simplify them. Students will learn the following vocabulary words: fraction, simplify, reduce, equivalent, part, whole. This will be a fun lesson for students who need extra help in working with fractions. Students need to have prior knowledge of fractions, but it can be at a lower level. We will learn new vocabulary and work through examples together. The class will be filled with encouragement as the teacher builds confidence for each learner. Math can be difficult, but this class is fun and engaging.
