During this class, students will have fun and learn to recognize their numbers 1-10 while practicing counting using one-to-one correspondence. We will be using playdough throughout the class! Please be sure your child comes to class with at least one color of playdough.

🐜We will use the song “The Ants Go Marching” to help recognize our numbers and sing together while watching the song come to life on screen with my own created slides. 

🍪Using our playdough, we will make cookies to put into our cookie jars and sprinkles to put on our donuts. 

🎲We will roll a number die to tell us how many cookies to make and put in our jar.

🍩We will then pick a donut card to tell us the number of sprinkles to put on our donuts! 

Upon enrollment, I will provide printouts of the cookie jars and donuts for the students to use in class. If you don’t have access to a printer, please don't worry.  Your learner can still participate in all the class activities!

🏃‍♂️We will have an interactive break in the middle of our class time where students will have a chance to get up and move while practicing counting with some fun exercises. 


After class, I will upload additional worksheets and activity suggestions for your child to complete that will provide them extra practice with number recognition and counting. 

This is a hands-on and engaging class where we have a blast and learn while doing it!
