With my bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish, as well as my experience as a language learner and instructor, I bring a unique expertise to my Spanish classes. Having started learning Spanish in high school and continuing my studies at the university level, I have built a solid foundation in reading fluency and spoken proficiency.

Over the past 20+ years, I have immersed myself in the Spanish language and culture. My ability to read and speak Spanish without an English accent is a testament to my dedication and commitment to mastering the language.

What sets me apart as a Spanish teacher is my personal experience as a non-native Spanish speaker. I understand the challenges and complexities that English speakers face when learning Spanish. This relatability allows me to effectively explain concepts in a way that makes sense to English-speaking learners. For the past three years, I have been teaching Spanish classes virtually, and I have witnessed tremendous growth in my students' language abilities. Many of my students began with little to no knowledge of Spanish and, by the end of the school year, have gained the confidence to read in Spanish and engage in basic conversations.
