Parents can write the letter of the week on index cards. Hide the index cards in the home and have their child attempt to find them. Once the child has found the index card, he/she should attempt to identify the letter and make the sound. He/She could then find a toy that begins with the same sound as the letter. For class, children should bring a toy or an object that begins with the letter sounds that we will be learning for the particular week. I will provide worksheets that the parents can print off for each lesson.
