Learn the basics of voice over acting in this class. Each week, our studio will discuss the technique of voice over, practice reading voice over scripts, and receiving feedback. We will review scripts from film, television, commercial, games, audition scripts, and more. Each class will be a different script and students will have the opportunity to read each character to gain acting range and speaking confidence. This class is for any level: from absolute beginner to seasoned actor.

Hello and Welcome! My name is Kristen I am a performer, voice over actor, teacher, and videographer. I have the honor of being awarded the Music & Arts: Teacher Of The Year Award.
As a performer, I have traveled the world performing as a lead singer onboard Carnival Cruise Lines. I have worked on seven ships in their fleet and performed several genres of music on stage. I have also worked as an actor in New York City. I have auditioned and traveled around the United States for jobs performing in musicals. My favorite shows are Disney's Mary Poppins (Mary), South Pacific (Nellie), and She Loves Me (Amalia).
As a teacher, I am currently a music teacher at an academy. I have taught and hosted live and virtual classes in music, theatre, auditioning, and public speaking. My goal is to prepare students for their auditions and performances so they are not as nervous and feel confident in themselves.
As a videographer, I run a YouTube channel documenting my travels as a teacher and performer. Working online has taught me about video-story-telling, graphics, editing, and proper lighting.
