Hello! My classes consist of explicit and systematic phonological awareness, phonemic awareness and phonics instruction for learners looking to strengthen their decoding and fluency skills. I utilize the Heggerty and UFLI curriculums to teach these skills. We will be using PowerPoint with our UFLI lessons and our lesson will focus on constant learner engagement and response. My lessons are designed for a variety of young learners (ages 5-10), including learners with Dyslexia. I believe every student can learn through a multi-sensory, engaging, and relationship-based classroom and enjoy teaching young learners how to read!

Learners can be as early on in their reading as beginning to learn their letter names and sounds to more advanced readers who need support with blends, digraphs, and vowel teams in single to multisyllabic words. My goal is for learners to master 1-4 phonics skills per week.
