➡️ This is a Self - Paced Class so there are no live meetings. All lessons are pre-recorded and interactive! This is a perfect way to learn to read since you can go at the child's pace, re-watching videos and doing practice activities as needed! ⭐️ ⭐️ There are 3 or 4 video lessons each week spanning over 8 weeks. Each video lesson comes with practice and "homework" to reinforce what is taught in the video. Although the class says "eight weeks" each child learns at their own pace. Learning to read and spell takes a lot of practice, so please, go at the child's pace for the best outcome - and you'll have a child that can read and spell confidently! ⭐️⭐️⭐️ No matter how old the child is, start at Lesson #1 with letters and sounds. Many students have "gaps" in their phonics learning, which causes difficulties with blending, reading, and spelling as they progress. ⭐️⭐️ 🟥 This self-paced course is meant for students ages 4 - 8. It's perfect for a beginning reader, or a child who is struggling to learn to read and needs extra review and reinforcement. Remember, every child learns at their own pace. Some may need a lot of extra practice and reinforcement, and that is okay! Make the journey fun! 🟩 The course is taught by me, a Certified Orton Gillingham Reading and Dyslexia Interventionist with over 25 years of experience teaching children to read and spell. The course follows all current research in how children learn to read and spell. 🟧 In this comprehensive course, your child will master letter names, letter sounds, and proper letter formation. By video #5, they will blend letter sounds together to read and spell! 🟨 Sight words or "heart words" will be introduced and practiced. 🟪 With 25 videos, your child will have ample opportunity to practice and develop their skills. Be sure to practice each skill before moving onto the next video! Practice, practice, practice! 🟧 Additionally, the class includes "Reading Practice" videos and "Spelling Practice" videos to reinforce their learning. ⭐️ ⭐️ Reach out to me directly if you need support while implementing the videos!
