Build confidence in reading and writing to ensure future success. This is an ongoing class but feel comfortable dropping in at any time! Learn fundamental skills for reading. *Students who enroll must know their letter sounds. Practice reading skills including: sight words, letter blends, and practice the spelling rules every week. Students will use their skills to decode more challenging words and build the confidence to read any word. Read short passages about animals together. Students will be able to request the animals they are interested in.
 A portion of class will include writing and sharing with the teacher to involve the students and ensure correct word formations. The "fry" word list will be used. It is included in PDF upon enrolling so that you can practice at home. Fun and games are included! 
Worksheets are sent home after every class meeting for at-home practice tying into the lesson.
