This is a 4-week course for beginner to intermediate golfers. Advanced classes available upon request! Students will get written information about each topic, and be taught the basics of holding a golf club. We will practice on zoom together and they will get live feedback on their swing. Please make sure students have an adequate area around them to hold a club. I'm a certificated elementary school teacher of 14 years. I am currently teaching 2nd Grade. I have been playing golf since I was 5 years old. I received many awards in high school and took my team to the state championship. From there, I received a golf scholarship to college. I played college golf and then began my teaching career. My first year teaching, I also began coaching high school girls golf. I coached for 3 years before focusing solely on teaching. During the summers, I would teach kids summer camps for my dad who was a PGA teaching professional.
A golf club, preferably and iron, would be great for students to handle and start using. It doesn't have to be their own club. For this course, just having an iron to reference would help students understand the material a lot more.
