Learning about archery is a great way to encourage young learners to play imaginative games and improve gross motor skills. I have been an archer myself for the last four years, in England, Thailand and in Cambodia. I really have learnt allot during this time about archery history, bows, and shooting techniques. I can say that I am an excellent shot with a traditional Mongolian horse bow. I often read books, watch films and T.V shows, and even play video games with great archers in them. I am somewhat of a geek when it comes to archery and can talk about it for hours.
In order to practice some shooting exercises, it would be beneficial for the student to have a bow, or flat resistance band, available for class. Although this is not required and the exercises can be done without these.
