Ms. Shiren is a graduate of the University of Toronto Peace, Conflict and Justice program, with a specialization in African Studies. She has lived and worked in West Africa, Latin America, and Europe including among communities of African descent in these diasporic locations. A former service provider in mental health and addiction services, she is sensitive to the individual's need for emotional support, where necessary.

クラス登録時に 4 の学習素材が提供されますThere are 2 handouts to accompany the class, and a third optional one (Regions handout). You can either print out the ones you would like, or let me know if you will need an electronic alternative. Students will also need pen/pencil to write, and for students who will be printing out the materials, they will also need colouring tools (crayons, pencil crayons or markers) and a small item (about the size of a coin) that they can use as a 'game board chip'. You can bring materials to write notes on, however, there will not be a lot of notes. One website is provided for students who won't have access to printed materials and are needing an electronic alternative.
