Students are introduced to Latin cases for nouns and adjectives, and begin putting Latin sentence structure to practice. We will also practice our greetings, and review the material from Class 1. 

I have a BA and MA in Latin and History. I have tutored and taught Latin from middle school through university levels. I also spent time doing research in Italy and translating texts.

Homework is to write the vocabulary into charts for each case, as well as translate the given sentences.

I have created this curriculum based on my own Latin studies, and draw from Wheelock's 7th edition Latin text book, Cambridge Latin I, Minimus 1, and the Oxford Latin dictionary. I also suggest downloading a free Latin dictionary (or you can buy one if you so choose - they range from very inexpensive to hundred of dollars - I do no suggest buying an expensive Latin dictionary at this point. I only bought mine while in college) OR utilizing Latin wiktionary (a free web resource) and I offer the URL during class. Latin Wiktionary is phenomenal. It not only suggests a few of the definitions, but students can see all the conjugation/declension endings for each verb tense/mood/person and gender/person.
