In this class we will practice letter and number recognition as well as independent skills such as opening food packages, buttoning, zipping, fixing sleeves, and tying shoes. This will be an interactive class that will begin each week with a read aloud story to introduce letters or numbers. Then we will sing a song to practice letter or numbers play a letter or number game to reinforce what we've been learning. Last, we will practice an independent skill. Each week we will review letters and numbers. I love to make learning fun and a game to help students love learning! I strongly encourage coloring on your own to strengthen pencil group and improve control. I also encourage scissor practice with an adult. Practice holding scissors correctly and cutting straight and curved lines. Your child can draw the lines first then cut them.
