幼稚園の算数：数え方、足し算、引き算、お金など！

In this ongoing class, Kindergarten aged students will develop and strengthen math skills. In class, I will introduce and reinforce math skills appropriate for Kindergarten students preparing to enter 1st grade next school year. This math club will resemble circle time only in that it will focus on math skills. This class is for students who may need a challenge in the subject of Math. Homeschool parents can use this class to assist with introducing skills or supplement learning. The main categories that will be introduced are as follows: counting numbers 1-100, counting by 2s, 5s,10s, 20s, money, measurement, place value, addition, subtraction, and time. 
 Students will have an opportunity to engage in class by greeting one another, answering questions, sing-alongs, games and show & tell. Students will have an opportunity to practice concepts in class with weekly provided worksheets and engaging activities. I believe in full engagement while teaching. While I give instruction and teach targeted concepts, I also provide students a chance to speak, develop listening skills, critical thinking and the space to be comfortable with trying.

Week of Feb. 24th - Addition by 1s and 2s
Week of March 3rd, 2023 - Addition by 3s

Week of March 17th- Addition by 5s
Week of March 24th - Subtraction by 1s/2s
Week of March 31st - Subtraction by 3s
Week of April 7th-  Subtraction by 4s
Week of April 14th- Subtraction by 5s
