Learners will become familiar with ocean ecology, food webs, and the unique biodiversity of earth's ocean ecosystems through games, crafts, science experiments, discussions, and slideshows. I am teaching this class because I am enthusiastic about sharing my life long passion for marine science with students. Shortly after spending my 14th birthday on the Great Barrier Reef, I was certified to Scuba Dive, and minored in Marine Science in college. I have always loved exploring underwater ecosystems and learning about the amazing wildlife of the ocean!
Supply lists for optional in class crafts and science experiments will be provided in the classroom.
