In this one-time class, the students will read the book My Favorite Fairy Tales: Jack and the Beanstalk by Kidsbooks Publishing ( used with permission). The students will learn this book is about taking advantage of unexpected opportunities, even if they seem risky at first. The students will be drawing Jack inspired by this book. I will be doing it with the students. At the end, the students can show their art project to the class.
