It's that time of year again! This movie has become one those holiday staples, being played on repeat every December. In this class, we will spend the hour discussing the movie, the historical setting, what makes it a classic, and what lessons the movie might be trying to teach. We will explore the original marketing and public response and how it came to be a December television staple. We will also compare it with other winter holiday movies. We will also briefly explore the actors, their fame at the time of the movies release, and what were the premier movies of this era. 

This is a discussion based class. Each student is responsible for watching the movie on their own before class. 

This class will consist of clips from the movie and a power point presentation.
