Websites: We will be using www.baseball-reference.com and www.fangraphs.com for real-world data analysis. These websites are free to use, require no sign-up, and are age-appropriate. Spreadsheet: A spreadsheet is required, and I will use Microsoft Excel in my examples. If you have a Google account, Sheets can be used as a substitute and I will make every effort to translate formulas where needed. Students can also access Microsoft Office 365 and Excel Online for free if needed. Instructions can be provided by request. Signing up for Office 365 Student Account requires a name and email address. Application: Out of the Park Baseball is free to use within the confines of the class and requires no special sign-up or account. A license will be provided.
