In this course, we will be taking an introductory look into SQL, answering questions such as "What is SQL?" and "Who uses SQL?". We will examine some of the most common keywords pertaining to the realm of SQL. We will be introduced to the DBMS, or database management system and learn about some real-world examples of DBMSs. We'll also learn how to download from the internet a free, open-source DBMS, MySQL, which your student may utilize in my next class, Building a Database, or experimenting with on their own.
