Welcome to Introduction to ASL, where students will dip their toes into a new and exciting language and culture! When students enter the class, we will begin, by first learning the alphabet by watching their teacher model the ASL alphabet appropriately. Next the students will parrot the ASL alphabet back to the teacher using the appropriate parameters. Then, students will learn how to spell their names correctly. And finally, they will interact with one another by using basic commands, introducing themselves and asking common questions such as, "what is your name?"
