I have a Honors Bachlor's in Music Education with a focus in violin. I started learning piano at the age of five, and began learning the violin in the 6th grade. While working toward my degree, I also took private lessons for the viola, cello, and double bass. During my time at The University of Texas at Arlington, I was given the opportunity to participate in the full orchestra on campus, performing a wide variety of classical music. Currently, I am performing in a community orchestra in my town where we perform four performances a year. I have been teaching violin in some capacity since the beginning of my collegiate experience, and I do have 3 years of experience in public school teaching at the elementary level, teaching general music.
