In this one-time class students will be introduced to the field of astrobiology. Also called exobiology, astrobiology explores what life is, how it may have emerged, and what it might look like beyond Earth.

Learners will be introduced to some of the bizarre organisms on Earth known as extremophiles as well as potential environments in our own solar system for similar organisms, such as Europa, Titan, and Mars.
