I Survived シリーズ ブック クラブ! (歴史、工芸、ゲームなど)

Welcome to the I Survived! Book Club. 
These exciting books bring history to life through the eyes of different young characters each week. Each week students will read or listen to a new book in the series. During class we will discuss the main event and might see a short informational video (geared toward children) related to the event. After we have briefly discussed the book we will move into an activity related to the book. This could range from a craft, group learning, coloring, experiment, baking or game. If any supplies are needed you will be given the list the week before class. 

Please determine if this book series is appropriate for your learner. Please also be aware that there may be aspects of a topic or individual’s life which may be controversial or upsetting to some. While the books are written for youth and therefore are mild reading the events that happened may not be suitable for all learners. You know your student best so please preview or find reviews on the books to see if these books would be appropriate for them to read. 

During class we will be discussing the main event of the book. While this will not be the majority of the class time, please make sure that your student is comfortable hearing different opinions on what happened during this event.
