This is an ongoing class and learners are welcome to join and leave as needed. Each week will be a different topic with sentences to practice speaking, fun songs to sing and dance to and different games to play. This class if for learners who are learning English as a second language. This class is good for learners with a beginner to intermediate level of English. The classes are live and recorded so you are always welcome to go back and watch the recording throughout the week to practice what you learned. Hi there! My name is Ms. Amanda and I am an experienced online teacher with a background in childhood education and Spanish. After graduating from the State University of New York at Fredonia, I taught first grade in Arizona for two years before moving to North Carolina to open a business with my husband. In North Carolina, I taught GED and ESL classes at a community college and first grade for two more years.
Despite my love for teaching in the traditional classroom setting, once my son was born, I decided to stay home and pursue my passion for teaching online. Since then, I have been staying at home with my two young children while teaching online classes with OutSchool and teaching ESL classes to children in China. I also worked as a content producer for a children's literacy app.
I have a passion for helping children learn how to read, which is a crucial foundation for lifelong learning. As an educator, I believe in instilling a growth mindset in my students, where they are encouraged to embrace challenges, learn from their mistakes, and ultimately reach their full potential. I look forward to working with your child to help them develop their skills and build their confidence in the classroom and beyond.レビュー
