Welcome to 1st Grade Readiness! In this class learners will meet 3x per week to ensure they are ready for 1st grade. This class includes pre writing skills, pre math concepts, early science, early geography and phonics. All taught material is concepts taught in kindergarten. This is a kind of crash course review for kindergarten. We will meet for 4 weeks so 12 total meetings. Each meeting will cover a different concept and will all come with homework. I use my own curriculum. I have been teaching Preschool through 8th grade full curriculum on Outschool for 2 years. I have designed my own curriculum as a homeschooling parent and curriculum developer for the last 8 years. I follow Florida state curriculum standards.
