In this class students will learn the basic foundation of how the human body functions. We will start with cells and tissues and then progress to the different bodily systems. We will explore the anatomy and function of the following: integumentary, skeletal, muscular, nervous, endocrine, cardiovascular, lymphatic, digestive, respiratory, and urinary systems.

This class will be covering the anatomy of the body. We will mostly be using drawings for our classes, but some actual pictures of anatomical body parts may be used.

受講の前提条件

I have taught this class to high school students with no previous biology, but it is easier if the student has taken at least a basic biology course.

受講に必要なもの

Pen/pencil and paper to take notes. A way to color pictures as desired.

I am a registered nurse and have a minor in anatomy and neurobiology. I have taught anatomy and physiology to high school students of varying educational backgrounds. Some students have never taken biology previously, and others have had 1-2 years of biology in the past.
