Each week, students will have a portion of their vocation project to complete for homework. The homework will take anywhere between one to four hours per week, depending upon the individual student. Students will need access to a computer with a word processing software in order to complete their vocation project. They will also need to bring to class materials to take notes such as paper or notecards and a pen or pencil. Students will need to have access to the internet and/or print sources (books and/or periodicals) to conduct their research. They will need to be able to contact a professional in their chosen vocation for an interview. They must be able to conduct the interview either in person, by telephone, or by mail or electronic communication. They will also need their own copy of the formatting guide for the Modern Language Association.
Students will be required to conduct an interview with a professional for their chosen vocation. Parents should be aware of the individuals their students choose to interview.
