They will write main point summaries, key point summaries, and outline summaries of the article, The Origins of Famous Foods. They will learn about the three summary responses of agree/disagree response, interpretive/reflective response, and analytic response and give examples of each. Students will also write a summary of the course, How to Summarize What You Read—Part 2, using one of the summary types and one of the summary responses.
