Learning will be focused on low-poly and hard surface modeling, basic lighting, materials, and rendering, as well as animation. Hotkey familiarity and use will be emphasized, as it is key to efficient workflows.

How Youtube is used in this course: I may sometimes send students links to my own prerecorded videos on Youtube. No account is required. How Blender is used in this course: This course uses Blender, a free and open source program for creating 3D models and animation. No account is needed. I will share my Blender program window though Zoom screen share during the live class. I may sometimes ask permission for learners to share their Blender program window through Zoom to troubleshoot issues as a last resort. You can find the Blender system requirements here: https://www.blender.org/download/requirements/ Please note that Blender does not run on Chromebooks.
