このクラスで学べること
Students will be drawing Princess Ariel. I will lead class using step by step on how to create their very own drawing. We will be looking at a reference photo I have picked out and drawing her together. We will start by drawing basic shapes/outlines of the tail and move up towards the upper half of her body and face and turn that into a cohesive picture! Students will be asked to do slight shading at the end in the proper areas (such as tail, hair, and seashells) to really make Ariel come to life. Come join us under the sea for some fun and relaxing drawing time! This class is for all ages; no experience necessary!

Hi all!
I'm so excited to continue my career as an Art teacher through Outschool! I am certified in New York State to teach all Visual Arts classes for ages K-12 and have my Masters Degree in Art Education. I have experience with all grades and absolutely LOVE kids!
I have previously taught:
-Drawing & Painting
-Fashion
-Ceramics
-Calligraphy
-Studio Art
-Cartooning
These are only a few specialty subjects I've taught outside of grade school art. My personal favorite mediums to work with are watercolor paint and pencil.
In my teaching experience, I've been able to offer both beginner and advanced sections of all my classes and sincerely enjoyed every minute of it. My teaching style revolves around making a positive and motivational rapport with my students and creating a space where they can exceed their own expectations. It's truly my pride and joy to watch my students grow!
A little about me... I was born and raised in New York but recently moved to Hawaii from Florida because my family proudly serves in the military. I have two little cats and a puppy who I adore and love to take pictures of. I might just be a crazy cat lady! I've had the privilege to travel around the world as well as work as a group leader for a teen travel camp over the past 3 summers. I've been a high school cheerleading coach for the past 6 years and would be more than happy to provide private coaching lessons as well!
