Hello! My name is Francesca and I love teaching and working with kids. My goal as a teacher is to help students develop a love of learning. My passions in the education field include teaching English as a Second Language, writing/language arts and teaching social and emotional skills. 

I have several years of experience in the education field. I have a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations. I also have certifications from Case Western Reserve University in mental health, social emotional learning, youth development and teaching anxiety/coping skills. I have experience working in the veterinary field with dogs, cats, rabbits and horses and I enjoy teaching animal science. Currently, I work in my local school districts and facilitate an after school youth program where I teach English, writing, math, health and cooking classes. 

I have many years of experience teaching English as a Second Language, Language Arts, and writing. I enjoy helping students improve their writing skills and help them to develop a love of the English language. 

I also enjoy teaching social emotional learning. I teach mindfulness and classes on building your self esteem as well as coping skills for anxiety and anger. 

In my free time, I enjoy hiking with my dog and riding my horse. I love the outdoors, gardening and volunteering in the community. I can't wait to see you in the classroom!
