**Class Description: Homeschool Math Tutoring: Build Confidence & Skills**  

This live homeschool math tutoring class provides personalized support for students in grades 2-12, helping them strengthen their math skills, build confidence, and develop problem-solving strategies. Whether your learner needs extra practice, homework help, or enrichment, this class is designed to adapt to their unique learning needs.  



**What will be taught?**  

Students will receive support in core math topics, including:  

- Elementary Math** – Addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, decimals, word problems  

- Middle School Math** – Pre-algebra, ratios, percentages, integers, equations, geometry basics  

- High School Math** – Algebra 1 & 2, Geometry, Math 1, Math 2, Math 3, functions, graphing, probability, statistics  

**What topics will you cover?**  

Each session will be customized to the needs of enrolled students. Topics may include:  

- Reviewing foundational skills  
- Strengthening problem-solving techniques  
- Practicing real-world math applications  
- Understanding algebraic expressions and equations

**How is your session structured?**  

Classes are offered as an ongoing tutoring session where students can sign up for any time available. Sessions are interactive and structured based on the learners' needs. A typical session includes:  

1. Warm-up Activity – Quick review or brain teaser to get started  
2. Concept Instruction – Explanation and examples of the topic  
3. Guided Practice– Working through problems together  
4. Independent Practice Activity/Game – Time for student to try on their own with feedback  
5. Q&A and Wrap-up – Reviewing key takeaways and answering student questions
