In this course, students will learn about how humans transformed the interiors of their homes based on the times. We will cover interior design from Ancient times to the modern period. The class will be structured into 8 weekly live meetings where I will use visuals and projects to facilitate student learning. I have a very casual teaching style and I love to interact with students.

I have been teaching high school and college level courses in apparel design and interior design for 21 years. I have a bachelor's degree in Clothing and Textiles and worked as a costume designer in professional theater for 15 years before teaching. I have a PhD in Consumer, Apparel, Retail Studies and teach design in high school full time!
