In this one-time class, I will work to expand and support the understanding of historical events based on the student’s area of need or interest. I prefer this class to be for individual students but will work also with small study groups or families. I have taught world history for over 15 years. I am highly qualified to teach history and science for grades 5-9, in addition to an elementary teaching degree and two Masters in education. I have judged the National History Day Project at all levels, including the national level. I have had the opportunity to travel to many countries and learn more about the events that shaped our past as I’ve visited landmarks and memorials.
