Disney movies take place in a land far, far away in a time long, long ago... but the creators often leave many clues as to where and when they take place. In this class, we'll be looking at a different Disney character each week to learn about the experiences and opportunities of people at different points in time and place. We will look at clips of each movie as well as primary and secondary sources to supplement our discussion. Each week will focus on a different character, and students can join at any point. It is not necessary for students to have seen every movie in order to enjoy and benefit from this class.
