Our first lesson details America's journey to the Constitution. Our first governing document, the Articles of Confederation, is covered in detail. Various influences on the structure of our Constitution, from philosophers to European documents to the experiences of the colonists are discussed.

The Organization, Processes, and Principles of the Constitution
Our second lesson discusses essential elements of our Constitution, from the way it organizes our government to the political processes it defines. Six key principles of the Constitution are introduced and explored.

Our third lesson discusses the political process of lawmaking that is found in article one of the Constitution.
