Hidden Figures the Young Readers Edition is about a group of black women working at the Langley Memorial Aeronautical Laboratory in Hampton, Virginia carving out a place for themselves as black, female mathematicians. Hidden Figures is their story. This course is ideal for families who would like to engage in a book study of Hidden Figures Young Readers' Edition. Each week, students will get a video and a readers guide to complete. Weekly discussion questions will also be posted to encourage critical thinking and as well as Kahoot! games. The weekly structure will be as follows: Monday: Video Posted Tuesday: Discussion Post in the Outschool Classroom with Teacher Thursday: Kahoot! Game Friday: Turn in the weekly reader's guide Session 1 Students will read chapters 1- 6 of "Hidden Figures Young Readers' Edition" by Margot Lee Shetterly Complete Readers Guide (provided by the teacher) Session 2 Students will read chapters 7 - 12 of "Hidden Figures Young Readers' Edition" by Margot Lee Shetterly Complete Readers Guide Session 3 Students will read chapters 13 - 18 of "Hidden Figures Young Readers' Edition" by Margot Lee Shetterly Complete Readers Guide Session 4 Students will read chapters 19 - 23 of "Hidden Figures Young Readers' Edition" by Margot Lee Shetterly Complete Readers Guide
